A Word about Bookcassette® Brand Audiobooks
Bookcassette audiobooks have three hours of listening on each tape—twice the normal amount—because the story is recorded on the right and left tracks of stereo tape separately. Your tapeplayer must be a stereo tapeplayer and have fully functioning balance control to isolate each speaker to be able to listen to a Bookcassette® brand audiobook.
How Do I Listen to a Bookcassette® Brand Audiobook?
It's Easy! After you determine that you have a STEREO tapeplayer with fully functioning balance control, you will need to adjust the balance control to hear only the left or right speaker. Listen to the entire cassette the first time with the balance control (knob) turned to the left position, so only the left speaker can be heard. Listen to the entire cassette again with the balance control (knob) turned to the right position, so only the right speaker can be heard. Easy instructions are also included on each cassette.

The Bookcassette Adapter is only needed if you will be listening with headphones to a Bookcassette audiobook. A stereo tapeplayer is still required. The Bookcassette Adapter gives you balance control on your headphones and is easy to use—plug it into the stereo headphone jack of your personal tapeplayer, and then plug your headphones into the other side.
